Students can register in schools for employment from June 20

    VIRUDHUNAGAR: Employment registration for the students who have passed out of 10th standard can be done at their respective schools from June 20, Virudhunagar Collector M. Balaji has said.

    In a statement, he said that 23,692 students from 265 schools had passed in the 10th examination in the district. Arrangements have been made in the schools for the students to register themselves.

   The schools that do not have broadband connections have been asked to get data cards. However, the students of those schools where the connection could not be established could register themselves in the neighbouring schools. The students should bring their ration cards. The registration would begin on June 20 and continue for 15 days. All the students who register on these 15 days would get the same seniority, Mr. Balaji said.

   The Collector said that special grievance redressal meetings on public distribution system would be held on June 10 at taluk-level. The meetings would be held at Kurichiyarpatti in Rajapalayam taluk; Koonampatti in Srivilliputtur; Vilampatti in Sivakasi; Nallamuthanpatti in Sattur; Kovilveerarpatti in Virudhunagar; Suklanatham in Aruppukottail Kezha Uppiligundu in Kariyapatti and Panakudi in Tiruchuli taluk.
